Where serious home sim racing and professional driver training meet. The Qubic System QS-V20 is a four DOF motion cockpit built on the same industrial grade QS-220 actuators as the flagship QS-S25 Spider. Heave, pitch, roll and yaw running at once, with traction loss coming through the yaw axis. Eight millisecond latency, actuator velocity up to 900mm per second, and the kind of physical feedback that is not a better version of consumer motion. It is a fundamentally different category of machine, sold at a price point that reflects what is inside it rather than what is fashionable. Suitable for sim racing, flight simulation and professional training programmes.
- 4DOF, heave, pitch, roll and yaw (traction loss through the yaw axis)
- QS-220 high speed industrial linear actuators
- 8 ms latency, up to 900 mm/s actuator velocity
- Compatible with rally, GT, F1 and flight simulation
- QS-BT1 belt tensioner bracket pre installed
- VR ready, Qubic Manager included
- 2 year warranty for personal use

Four axes. One platform. No excuses.
Heave, pitch, roll and yaw running simultaneously through four QS-220 industrial-grade linear actuators. What sets the V20 apart from anything cheaper is the yaw axis, with its centre of rotation at the front of the cockpit.
That geometry means it physically simulates oversteer, the kind of rear-axle feedback no pitch-and-roll platform can replicate however many degrees of tilt it claims. 8 ms latency from telemetry to motion. Actuator velocity up to 900 mm/s. You feel the car before you see it on screen, which is the actual point of motion simulation when it's done properly.
Built to fit a real room.
Plenty of professional-grade platforms assume you have a warehouse. The V20 doesn't. Compact footprint, designed to drop into a sim room, a spare bedroom, or a studio without structural changes or a dedicated facility. Works with every major direct drive wheelbase, load cell pedal set, and shifter on the market without adapters or fabrication.
Wheel and pedal mounts adjust to your driving position rather than forcing you to adjust to them. The QS-BT1 belt tensioner bracket comes pre-installed for when you decide to add it. Industrial spec, made livable.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does 4DOF mean on the QS-V20?
4DOF means four degrees of freedom. The QS-V20 moves across four axes simultaneously: heave (vertical), pitch (front to back tilt), roll (side to side tilt) and yaw (rotational traction loss). The yaw axis simulates oversteer by rotating the entire cockpit, giving you physical feedback of the rear stepping out.
Does the QS-V20 work with my existing sim hardware?
Yes. The QS-V20 is compatible with all major direct drive wheelbases, pedal sets and sim cockpit hardware. Adjustable mounting brackets for both wheel and pedals are included. Contact us before ordering if you have a specific compatibility question and we will confirm suitability.
What software does the QS-V20 use?
The QS-V20 uses Qubic Manager, which is developed by Qubic System and available as a free download. It is plug and play compatible with all major racing and flight simulation titles on PC and is continuously updated to support new titles. The serial number supplied with your unit is required for activation.
Does the QS-V20 work with VR?
Yes. Qubic Manager is fully VR ready and compatible with all major VR headsets used in sim racing.
What is the delivery time to the UK?
The QS-V20 ships from Poland. Delivery to UK mainland addresses takes 1 to 2 weeks from dispatch. Free UK mainland delivery is included.
Is the QS-BT1 belt tensioner included?
No. The QS-BT1 belt tensioner is sold separately. The QS-V20 does however ship with the dedicated mounting bracket for the QS-BT1 already installed, so adding it when available requires no modification.
What warranty does the QS-V20 come with?
The QS-V20 carries a 2 year warranty for personal use. Post-sale technical support is provided directly by Qubic System via support.motionsystems.eu
Is the QS-V20 Right For You?
Best For
- Sim racers wanting professional-grade 4DOF motion in a domestic-friendly footprint
- Drivers prioritising rear-axle yaw feedback - the V20's centre-of-rotation at the front replicates oversteer physically
- Anyone wanting industrial QS-220 linear actuators with 8ms latency for direct, immediate motion response
- Buyers willing to invest in serious motion at the £20k tier where amateur platforms stop and professional ones begin
Consider the DOF Reality H6 Instead If
- A more affordable route to similar axis combinations matters more than industrial-grade actuators
- You're comfortable with a tilt-based platform rather than linear motion
Not Recommended For
- Buyers under the £15,000 mark - the entry tier of professional motion sits above amateur platforms by a meaningful margin
- Flight-only users - the V20's yaw is racing-tuned; flight buyers should consider the QS-S25 or DOF H6R
- Anyone wanting a casual entry to motion - V20 buyers should already have committed peripherals, monitors and PC matching the ambition
