Same actuator technology that powers the QS-V20 turnkey cockpit and the QS-S25 hexapod, scaled down for SimLab, Trak Racer, ASR, or any standard 8020 extrusion rig. 400mm/s maximum speed and sub-8ms latency means the platform responds faster than you can perceive the delay. Every kerb strike, weight transfer, and surface change is reproduced in real time.

QubicManager software is free, developed in-house, and compatible with over 80 racing and flight titles including iRacing, ACC, rFactor 2, MSFS, and DCS World.

What is included in the 2DOF Full System?

What is included in the 3DOF Full System?

Four QS-L5 linear actuators, two QS-SB2 power cabinets, one QS-MC6 motion controller, two power cords, mounting brackets, and all hardware. Four actuators give you pitch, roll, and heave for kerb detail, surface texture, and suspension feedback.

What is the difference between 2DOF and 3DOF?

2DOF gives you pitch (braking and acceleration tilt) and roll (cornering tilt). These are the two most important motion axes for sim racing. 3DOF adds heave, which is vertical movement reproducing kerb strikes, road surface changes, and suspension compression. 2DOF covers the fundamentals. 3DOF adds the detail layer on top.

What is the QS-PIVOT and do I need it?

An optional rear-mounted pivot bar that creates a 2.5DOF configuration from a 2DOF system. It adds a yaw-like rotation during cornering that enhances traction loss feel. Useful if you want more than 2DOF but are not ready to invest in the full 3DOF system. Not required but a strong upgrade for sim racers focused on car control.

Which cockpits are compatible?

Any aluminium profile (8020 extrusion) cockpit. SimLab, Trak Racer, ASR, Advanced SimRacing, and similar. Mounting brackets included. Steel tube cockpits may need custom adapters.

How loud are the actuators?

Extremely quiet. Among the quietest motion actuators on the market. Suitable for home use without disturbing others. The loudest component is the cooling fan in the power cabinet.

What games are supported?

Over 80 titles including iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, rFactor 2, Automobilista 2, MSFS 2024, DCS World, X-Plane 12, Euro Truck Simulator 2, and any title outputting telemetry data. QubicManager software is free.

Does it work with VR headsets?

Yes. QubicManager includes VR HeadWay technology that compensates for cockpit movement in VR, reducing motion sickness. Works with all PCVR headsets including Pimax, Meta Quest with Link, and Valve Index.

How does the QS-210 compare to the QS-220?

Same actuator family, same controller, same software. QS-210 has 60mm stroke at 400mm/s. QS-220 has 100mm stroke at 800mm/s. More stroke means a wider motion envelope. The QS-220 is the better long-term buy if budget allows.
