Pitch, roll, and heave from four compact actuators that bolt directly to your existing aluminium rig. The SIMRIG SR1 is a 3DOF motion system designed and built in Sweden since 2018. It mounts underneath your cockpit frame without increasing the footprint of your setup. Your rig gains three axes of motion while looking exactly the same from the outside.

Braking tilts you forward. Cornering rolls you into the apex. Kerbs and bumps push upward through the seat as heave. Three degrees of freedom from a system that fits under your seat, connects via USB, and runs from a standard wall socket. No external controllers, no complex wiring, no permanent modifications to your rig.

SIMRIG Control Center software is included with no subscription fees. It reads telemetry from every major sim title including iRacing, ACC, MSFS, DCS, X-Plane, and dozens more. Plug in, install the software, and the rig starts moving within minutes. Native VR motion compensation is built in for OpenVR and OpenXR headsets.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between SIMRIG and DOF Reality?

SIMRIG is an actuator kit that mounts to your existing aluminium rig. Your rig frame stays, the actuators bolt to the corners, and the whole thing moves. DOF Reality H-series is a standalone platform with its own frame included. Choose SIMRIG if you already own an 8020 rig you want to keep. Choose DOF Reality if you want a complete self-contained platform.

Will the SR1 fit my rig?

Compatible with 40x40, 60x20, and 80x40mm aluminium extrusion rigs. Two mounting options are included: 20x20 profiles that form a base underneath, or EasyBrackets that bolt directly to the sides. If you are unsure about your rig, get in touch and we will check for you.

What is the 175kg max load?

That is the combined weight of you, your rig frame, seat, wheelbase, pedals, monitors, and everything else the actuators are moving. Not just your body weight. If you weigh 80kg and your rig plus peripherals weigh 50kg, your total is 130kg which is within the SR1's limit.

How do I know if I need the SR1, SR2, or SR3?

SR1 is best for drivers under 80kg on lighter 40x40 or 80x40 rigs. SR2 covers drivers under 120kg on mid to heavy rigs. SR3 handles drivers over 120kg or heavily loaded rigs. Add up your total weight including the rig and compare it to each model's max load.

Is it loud?

No. The power supply is fanless. The ECU fan only runs when necessary. Rubber pads on each actuator absorb vibration and stop the system from transmitting noise through the floor.

Does it work with VR?

Yes. SIMRIG Control Center includes native VR motion compensation for OpenVR and OpenXR headsets. Your head stays stationary in VR while the rig moves around you.

What games are supported?

iRacing, Assetto Corsa, ACC, Assetto Corsa EVO, MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024, DCS, X-Plane, rFactor 2, Le Mans Ultimate, BeamNG, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Gran Turismo 7, and many more. Full list available on the SIMRIG documentation site.
