Built for heavy rigs and heavy drivers. The SIMRIG SR3 pushes the load capacity to 250kg with a 1000W power supply, making it the flagship of the SR range. Fully loaded 160x40 rigs with direct drive wheelbases, hydraulic pedals, a heavy bucket seat, and a driver over 120kg stay within limits without dialling back motion strength.

Same 3DOF layout as the SR1 and SR2. Four industrial grade linear actuators at the corners of your rig deliver pitch, roll, and heave with 70mm travel, 100 mm/s speed, and 0.1mm accuracy at 7ms latency. The difference is purely in the load it handles. Where the SR2 starts to work harder above 200kg, the SR3 has headroom to spare.

SIMRIG Control Center software included with no subscription. Supports every major sim racing and flight sim title. Native VR motion compensation for OpenVR and OpenXR. Who is the SR3 designed for?

Drivers over 120kg, heavily loaded rigs, or anyone who wants maximum load headroom. The 250kg capacity and 1000W power supply mean the system never has to work near its limits, even with a full cockpit setup.

What is the difference between the SR3 and SR2?

250kg max load vs 225kg. 1000W power supply vs 750W. The extra capacity and power give the SR3 more headroom under load. Speed, accuracy, latency, and software are identical.

Is the SR3 better than the SR2 even if I am under 120kg?

If your total setup weight (you plus rig plus everything on it) is under 200kg, the SR2 handles it comfortably. The SR3 only makes sense when you genuinely need the extra 25kg of capacity. Paying more for headroom you will never use does not improve the motion quality.

What rigs is it compatible with?

40x40, 80x40, 120x40, and 160x40mm aluminium extrusion rigs. Best suited to heavier 120x40 and 160x40 builds where the rig weight alone is significant.

Can I use it commercially?

Yes. The 250kg capacity and 1000W power supply handle back-to-back sessions with different drivers of varying weights. The system is designed for sustained use.

Does it support console?
