About SimTorque
Motion platforms for sim racing, flight simulation and professional applications. The UK's specialist retailer focused entirely on motion simulation.
SimTorque is a UK-based independent retailer specialising in motion simulation platforms. We started SimTorque because the UK didn't have a retailer that focused on motion platforms properly. Most stores treat motion as one category among many, alongside wheels, pedals and generic gaming kit. We do the opposite. We focus entirely on motion, across every simulator application where it makes a difference, and that's it.
Whether you're upgrading a sim racing rig, building a flight sim cockpit, or commissioning a bespoke motion solution for a training facility, this is a store built around one thing.
About the Founder
I'm Corey, the founder of SimTorque. I'm a UK-based sim racer, and I built this store because I kept hitting the same wall everyone else in this hobby hits, there isn't really a UK motion platforms retailer that specialises properly in this kit, engages in helping customers and has a few different options from different brands. You either order direct from manufacturers in Europe with hefty shipping costs and import fees, or you buy from generalist sites where the staff have never actually used the equipment they're selling or can't be bothered to reply to your email.
SimTorque started life as a sim racing specialist, but as the store grew and customers came to us asking about motion, it became clear where the real interest was. Motion platforms are the single biggest upgrade you can make to a simulator. Going from a static rig to a proper motion platform isn't an incremental change, it's a different experience entirely. The more I dug into the category, the more I realised it was the part of the catalogue that genuinely mattered, to customers and to me. So we narrowed the focus.
Now SimTorque is the version of a motion platform retailer I wanted to exist. Every brand we list comes through a direct relationship with the manufacturer and we provide our customers with honest, detailed advice on products and how to integrate them into their sim setup. If a 3DOF platform will serve you better than the 6DOF you came in asking about, I'll tell you. If a seat mover is the right entry point rather than a full platform, I'll say that too. The job is to help you put your budget in the right place, not the most expensive place.

What Makes Us Different
-
Specialist focus, not a general store
We're not a general gaming retailer that happens to sell motion platforms. SimTorque is built entirely around motion simulation,
across sim racing, flight sim and professional use. Every product is selected based on build quality, performance, and whether it genuinely suits the way UK customers actually set up and use motion. -
Direct manufacturer relationships
We work directly with the manufacturers behind every platform we list through direct manufacturer agreements. Not reseller chains, not grey imports. That means accurate lead times, genuine warranty cover, and pre-sales answers from people who actually know the product.
-
Honest pre-sales advice
If a cheaper platform does the job for your setup, we'll tell you. If a different brand suits you better than the one you came in asking about, we'll say so. The goal is to help you build the right setup, not the most expensive one. Email or call before you buy and you'll get a real answer from a real person who understands motion, not a sales script.
How SimTorque Works
We're an independent UK retailer, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17102663). Depending on the product, orders are fulfilled from UK or European partner facilities. Exact lead times are shown on every product page so you know what to expect before you buy. UK customer support, returns and aftersales are handled
directly by us.
We're upfront about how the model works because we'd rather you understand it than wonder. Some products are built to order in the UK with bespoke lead times. Others ship from European warehouses within 2-4 weeks. UK import VAT applies on EU-shipped products and is paid to the courier
on delivery, which we explain clearly on the relevant product pages so there are no surprises.
