The Qubic System QS-BT1 is a dual-channel direct drive seat belt tensioner that adds a completely new dimension of immersion to your sim rig. Using the same industrial-grade direct drive technology as the QS-220 actuators, it physically tightens your harness in response to braking, cornering, traction loss and lateral G-forces — giving you physical feedback that no haptic pad or bass shaker can replicate.

  • 200 N of force per channel — genuine G-force simulation through your seatbelt
  • Simulates braking, lateral acceleration, cornering, wheel lock and traction loss
  • Engine vibration, gear shifts and road texture via game telemetry
  • 8 ms latency — same direct drive technology as QS-220 actuators
  • Works as a standalone device or alongside any Qubic System motion platform
  • Compatible with all major sim racing titles via Qubic Manager software
  • VR ready out of the box
  • 2 year warranty for personal use

The QS-BT1 is the most immersive non-motion upgrade you can make to a sim rig. If you already own a motion platform, it adds a layer of physical feedback that takes the experience further. If you do not have a motion platform yet, it works perfectly as a standalone device.

Pre-Order — July 2026: The QS-BT1 is available to pre-order now. Stock is expected to arrive in July 2026. Your order will be fulfilled and despatched as soon as stock lands. Contact us before ordering if you have any questions about lead times.
Our Recommendation We recommend the QS-BT1 for sim racers who want belt tensioning synchronised with their motion platform for a more complete physical feedback loop.

Belt tensioning under braking and acceleration adds a layer of physical communication that many sim racers describe as one of the most effective immersion upgrades.

Frequently Asked Questions

What software do I need to run Qubic System products?

All Qubic System products use Qubic Manager, which is free to download from qubicsystem.com. It runs on PC only and is compatible with all major sim racing titles. No third-party software is required for basic operation.

What is the QS-MC6 and do I need one?

The QS-MC6 is the motion controller that acts as the communication link between your PC and the Qubic actuators. It is required to operate the QS-210, QS-220 and QS-CH2. If you already own a QS-MC6 from a previous Qubic System purchase you do not need another one — one controller can manage up to four actuator sets. If you are buying your first Qubic product that requires it, select the variant above that includes the QS-MC6. Not sure whether you need one? Contact us before ordering and we will advise.

What is the difference between the QS-210 and QS-220 actuators?

Both deliver 3DOF pitch, roll and heave. The QS-210 uses more compact actuators with a shorter stroke and is designed for installation in popular aluminium profile cockpits with the included bracket set. The QS-220 uses the full industrial-grade actuators — the same ones found in the QS-V20 and QS-S25 professional cockpits — with a longer 100mm stroke and greater force output. The QS-220 is the more powerful and more expensive option, suited to customers wanting professional-grade performance or who are building around a full Qubic System cockpit.

What cockpits are the QS-210 and QS-220 compatible with?

Both come with bracket sets designed to fit most popular aluminium profile cockpits available on the market including 8020, 4040 and similar profiles. They can also be configured with the dedicated Qubic System cockpit profiles used in the QS-V20 and QS-S25. If you are unsure whether your existing rig is compatible, contact us with your cockpit model and we will confirm before you order.

Can I expand my system later?

Yes. Qubic System is designed to be modular. The QS-CH2 can be expanded to 5DOF by adding a QS-210 or QS-220 3DOF actuator set. One QS-MC6 controller manages up to four actuator sets, so you do not need to replace any existing hardware when expanding. The QS-BT1 belt tensioner can also be added to any existing Qubic setup for an additional layer of immersion.

Where do Qubic System products ship from and how long does delivery take?

All Qubic System products are manufactured in Poland and ship directly from the Qubic System facility. Delivery to UK mainland addresses typically takes 2 to 5 business days from dispatch. The QS-H13 seat mover has a separate lead time — contact us to confirm availability before ordering. Free UK delivery is included on all Qubic System products.

What warranty do Qubic System products come with?

All Qubic System products come with a 2 year warranty for personal use and a 1 year warranty for commercial use, covering manufacturing defects. Post-sale technical support is provided directly by Qubic System via support.motionsystems.eu.

What is the QS-BT1 and how does it differ from a motion platform?

The QS-BT1 is a dual-channel direct drive seat belt tensioner. Instead of moving the whole platform or seat, it physically tightens your harness in response to braking, cornering and G-forces detected from game telemetry. It can be used as a standalone immersion device or alongside any Qubic System motion platform. It uses the same direct drive technology as the QS-220 actuators and delivers 200N of force per channel.
