Frequently Asked Questions

What does the eBelt actually do?

The eBelt is a seat belt tensioner. It physically tightens your harness under braking, acceleration and cornering forces in sync with the telemetry from your simulation. When you brake hard the belt pulls against your chest. When you accelerate out of a corner it releases. It adds a direct physical connection between the car and your body without requiring any other motion hardware.

Do I need a motion platform or seat mover to use the eBelt?

No. The eBelt works completely standalone on any static sim racing rig. It does not require the eSeat, a motion platform or any other eMotion product to function.

What harnesses is it compatible with?

The eBelt is compatible with most standard racing harnesses. Contact us before ordering if you have a specific harness and we will confirm compatibility with the eMotion team.

Is the eBelt included in the eSeat+?

Yes. The eSeat+ bundle includes the eSeat seat mover and the eBelt together at a better combined price. If you are considering both products, the eSeat+ is the better option.

Is delivery free?

The eBelt is under £500 so delivery is charged at checkout rather than being included free. The delivery cost will be shown clearly before payment.

How long does delivery take?

The eBelt is built to order in the UK. The current lead time is 4 to 6 weeks from order placement. We will keep you updated throughout and confirm your delivery window once your unit is complete.

Is it made in the UK?

Yes. Every eMotion product including the eBelt is designed and built in the UK. There are no import fees or customs charges and the price shown includes VAT.

Can I install it myself?

Yes. Full setup guidance is provided by the eMotion Simulators team and installation does not require specialist tools or technical knowledge.
