Most 3DOF setups are assembled from multiple modules - a pitch and roll platform here, a traction loss module there - and the total cost adds up fast. The e2X TL solves that by putting pitch, roll, and traction loss into a single compact unit, engineered together rather than bolted together.

The result is significantly cheaper than buying the modules separately, with no integration work and no extra wiring. Three actuators, USB direct to PC, plug and play. Sim racing focused, because traction loss is what makes a car feel like a car.

What is the difference between the e2X TL and the standard e2X?

The e2X is a 2-axis platform giving you pitch and roll. The e2X TL adds a third axis — traction loss — in a single combined unit. You get the same pitch and roll from braking and acceleration plus the physical sensation of the rear stepping out under oversteer and the front washing wide under understeer. It is a meaningfully different experience and better value than buying the two separately.

Do I need the console controller for PC use?

No. For PC use the e2X TL connects directly via USB and works with Simtools. The console controller is only required if you want to use the platform with a PlayStation or Xbox console.

Which console games are compatible?

Gran Turismo 7, F1 2017 through to F1 2025, Project Cars 2, Forza Motorsport 7, Forza Motorsport 8, Forza Horizon 4 and Forza Horizon 5. The console controller does not support all racing titles. If you are unsure whether your game is supported contact us before ordering.

Will the e2X TL fit my cockpit?

The e2X TL is designed for cockpits with base frame rails and has a 900 x 610mm footprint. It is not suitable for longer cockpits. If your cockpit requires adapter plates for fitment these are supplied free of charge by eMotion. Contact us with your cockpit make and model before ordering and we will confirm suitability. If you don't have a cockpit yet, you can add an eMotion Single Screen or Triple Screen cockpit as a variant option above — both are designed specifically to fit this platform.

How long does delivery take?

The e2X TL is built to order by hand in the UK. Allow 3 to 4 weeks from order to delivery. We will keep you updated throughout the production process and send tracking information as soon as your order is dispatched.

Can I cancel my order after placing it?

Once production has begun your order cannot be cancelled or refunded as the platform is manufactured specifically to your specification. Please contact us before ordering if you have any questions and we will make sure this is the right product for your setup before you commit.

Is delivery included in the price?

Yes. Free UK mainland delivery is included on all eMotion Simulators products. The price shown includes VAT.

What software do I need?

The e2X TL works with Simtools motion software which is available free from the Simtools website. Full setup instructions are supplied with the platform. eMotion also provides direct support if you need help getting everything configured.
