This is the architecture F1 teams use to train drivers. The Qubic System QS-S25, the Spider, is a full six DOF professional motion cockpit running six independent high speed linear actuators that deliver surge, sway, heave, roll, pitch and yaw simultaneously. Every force a real car applies to a driver, or a real aircraft applies to a pilot, the Spider reproduces. Nothing approximated, nothing left out. For sim racers and pilot trainees who want the most realistic simulation it is possible to own at consumer scale, this is the ceiling. The QS-S25 does not compromise, so neither do you.
- Full 6DOF, surge, sway, heave, roll, pitch and yaw simultaneously
- 8 ms latency from telemetry to physical motion
- Up to 900 mm/s maximum actuator velocity, 0.88G acceleration
- 250 kg payload capacity
- Patent pending linear actuator technology
- Compatible with rally, GT, F1 and flight simulation
- VR ready, low noise for home studios
- Modular assembly for easier installation
- 2 year warranty for personal use
Cockpit set: The QS-S25 platform is sold as the motion base only. The dedicated cockpit set with integrated monitor mounts for three 32 inch screens is available as an add on. We strongly recommend including the cockpit set unless integrating into a custom rig.
Floor anchoring required for safe operation under dynamic load.

Six axes. No compromises.
Surge, sway, heave, roll, pitch and yaw, all running simultaneously through six independent high-speed linear actuators. This is the hexapod architecture used in professional driver training simulators at the highest levels of motorsport.
The jump from 4DOF to 6DOF isn't incremental, it's categorical. Every force a real car applies to a driver is reproduced physically, all at once, in real time. You stop watching the car do things and start feeling everything it does, which is the moment most owners describe as the point where simulation stops being simulation.
Professional grade. Home ready.
Despite the professional specification, the Spider is engineered for quiet operation, which means it actually belongs in a home studio rather than just a commercial facility. The modular design means it ships in components and assembles on site, so it fits through a standard doorway rather than requiring a knock-through.
The dedicated cockpit set with integrated triple-monitor mounts is available as an add-on, giving you a complete turnkey setup without custom fabrication. Floor anchoring is required for safe operation under dynamic load, which is the only honest sentence at this end of the market — anything that moves 250 kg at 0.88G needs to be bolted down.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is 6DOF and why does it matter?
6DOF stands for six degrees of freedom. The QS-S25 moves across all six axes simultaneously: surge (forward and backward), sway (side to side), heave (vertical), pitch (nose up and down), roll (side tilt) and yaw (rotational traction loss). Most home motion platforms offer 2 to 4 of these axes. Having all six working together is what produces the full physical sensation of driving a real racing car rather than a simulation of it.
Does the QS-S25 need to be anchored to the floor?
Yes. Floor anchoring is required for safe operation. The platform produces significant dynamic forces under load and must be secured to ensure stability during use. This is a standard requirement for professional grade hexapod simulators.
Is the cockpit set included in the price?
No. The base price covers the motion platform only. The dedicated cockpit set with integrated monitor mounts for three 32 inch screens is available as an add-on when selecting your configuration above. We strongly recommend the cockpit set unless you are integrating the platform into an existing custom rig.
What software does the QS-S25 use?
The QS-S25 uses Qubic Manager, developed by Qubic System and available as a free download. It is compatible with all major racing and flight simulation titles on PC and is continuously updated. It is also compatible with professional simulation SDK applications for developers.
What is the delivery time to the UK?
The QS-S25 ships from Poland. Delivery to UK mainland addresses takes 1 to 2 weeks from dispatch. Free UK mainland delivery is included. Please contact us before ordering if you have specific installation requirements and we will confirm access and suitability for your space.
Can the QS-S25 fit through a standard doorway?
The QS-S25 is designed for modular assembly on site. It can be transported and assembled through standard access points. Contact us with your installation details before ordering and we will advise on the best approach for your space.
What warranty does the QS-S25 come with?
The QS-S25 carries a 2 year warranty for personal use and 1 year for commercial use. Post-sale technical support is provided directly by Qubic System via support.motionsystems.eu
Is the QS-S25 Right For You?
Best For
- Sim racers, flight simmers and bespoke training buyers wanting full 6DOF professional motion
- Anyone serious enough to commit at the £30,000+ tier where motion stops being a hobby and starts being a platform
- Buyers wanting the hexapod architecture used in professional driver training and motorsport facilities
- Users building serious facilities - esports, training centres, premium home studios
Consider the QS-V20 Instead If
- 4DOF meets your needs and the budget difference matters
- You don't need the full 6DOF envelope and would rather invest the £10k+ saving elsewhere
Not Recommended For
- Buyers under £20,000 - the entry into Qubic 6DOF starts at a serious price point and shouldn't be approached half-committed
- Anyone whose room or floor can't accommodate the dynamic load and floor anchoring requirements
- Users without proven need for full 6DOF - start at 4DOF (V20) or below and grow into the S25 if needed
