Native 4K resolution per eye and glass aspheric lenses with a 35 PPD sweet spot that makes cockpit instruments sharp enough to read at a glance. The Crystal Light is Pimax's best-selling PCVR headset and one of the most popular choices among sim racers and flight sim pilots looking for a meaningful step up from the Meta Quest 3 or HP Reverb G2.
115 degree horizontal field of view gives you enough peripheral vision to spot the car alongside you into a braking zone. Refresh rates up to 120Hz keep the image smooth under hard braking and fast head movement. Inside-out SLAM tracking with two included controllers means no base stations needed. Just plug in the DisplayPort cable, launch Pimax Play, and you are in the cockpit. Pairs perfectly with a motion platform. VR removes the screen boundary and puts you inside the cockpit. Combined with motion, it is the closest thing to being in a real car or aircraft without leaving the house.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Crystal Light good for sim racing?
Very. 35 PPD means cockpit instruments, rear-view mirrors, and distant braking markers are sharp enough to read without leaning in. 115 degree horizontal FOV gives you enough peripheral vision to see cars alongside you into a corner. Refresh rates up to 120Hz keep the image stable during fast head movement on a motion platform.
Does the Crystal Light work with motion platforms?
Yes. Inside-out SLAM tracking handles the constant movement of a motion platform without drift or tracking loss. No base stations or external sensors needed. Works with every motion platform in our range from DOF Reality, eMotion Simulators, and Qubic System.
What GPU do I need for the Crystal Light?
Minimum RTX 2080. An RTX 3070 or above is recommended for a smooth experience at higher refresh rates. Fixed Foveated Rendering 2.0 helps squeeze more performance from mid-range cards by reducing detail in your peripheral vision where you are not looking.
Does the Crystal Light come with controllers?
Yes. Two Pimax controllers are included in the box along with a DisplayPort cable and power adapter. Everything you need to get started.
Can I use Lighthouse tracking with the Crystal Light?
Yes, but you need to buy a separate Lighthouse faceplate accessory. Out of the box it uses inside-out SLAM tracking which works without any external hardware.
What is the warranty on the Crystal Light?
1 year manufacturer warranty. Pimax has a 24/7 support team for any issues. SimTorque handles your initial contact and Pimax processes any returns or replacements directly.
