The MOZA R25 Ultra is MOZA's flagship direct drive base: 25Nm from a custom flat-wire, zero-cogging motor, read by a built-in true torque sensor sampling at 2kHz. In plain terms, the base measures the force it is actually putting out and corrects it in real time, so what you feel through the rim is the car, not the motor.

A 21-bit magnetic encoder (2,097,152 PPR), a 600MHz processor and a 1000Hz USB refresh rate keep the detail sharp at the limit of grip. It mounts front, side or bottom, so it bolts straight onto most aluminium profile rigs and wheel decks.

For motion rig owners: 25Nm with true torque control is the sweet spot for a serious rig. It is strong enough for heavy GT and formula wheels, and stays smooth and controlled when the platform is moving underneath you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is 25Nm too much for a home rig?

No, provided the rig is stiff. 25Nm gives headroom so detail stays clean when the force is high, and you can set the strength lower in MOZA Pit House. It needs a solid aluminium profile cockpit or wheel deck rather than a desk clamp.

What does the true torque sensor do?

It measures the force the base is actually putting out, 2,000 times a second, and corrects it in real time. The result is cleaner, more accurate force feedback with less motor feel.

Which wheels work with it?

Every MOZA wheel fits straight onto the built-in quick release, including the Vision GS, ESSENZA SCV12 and Porsche Mission R.

How does it mount?

Front, side or bottom mounting, so it bolts onto most aluminium profile rigs and wheel decks. Next Level Racing lists the R25 Ultra as compatible with the F-GT Elite 160.

Does it work on console?

No. The R25 Ultra is a PC wheel base.
