The Bell RS7 Pro in Stamina Red is the same specification as the Stamina Grey version above — FIA 8859 and Snell SA2020 certified, RS7 platform, carbon composite shell — in a bold red finish. The Stamina Red colourway is one of the more distinctive options in the RS7 Pro range and works well in sim rig cockpit builds where a strong colour presence in the helmet is wanted.

The RS7 Pro is the accessible entry point into Bell's RS7 range, sharing the HP7 aerodynamic profile at a lower price point than the full ultra-lightweight RS7 Carbon. The same Smartlock visor, DSAF anti-fog visor, factory HANS posts and 14-channel ventilation system are present across the entire RS7 range.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between FIA 8860-2018 and FIA 8859/SA2020?

FIA 8860-2018 is the highest motorsport helmet standard in the world and is mandatory in Formula 1. It offers significantly greater protection than FIA 8859, particularly against ballistic debris and high-speed impacts. FIA 8859 and Snell SA2020 are the standard used across GT racing, touring cars and club motorsport — both are serious competition standards suitable for all forms of circuit and rally racing below F1 level. For sim racing purposes both standards are equally valid.

Do I need a HANS device to use these helmets?

The helmets come with factory-fitted HANS anchor posts included, which means they are ready for HANS/FHR use out of the box. A HANS device is not required for sim racing use — the posts are simply present if you want full HANS compatibility for real-world use alongside your simulator.

How do I choose the right Bell helmet size?

Bell helmets tend to run slightly smaller than other brands such as Arai or Stilo. Measure the circumference of your head at its widest point — typically just above your eyebrows — and cross-reference against the Bell size chart. If you are between sizes we recommend sizing up. Contact us before ordering and we can advise on the best fit.

What is the difference between the HP7 and RS7 Carbon?

Both share the same aerodynamic shell design and HP platform — the RS7 Carbon brings the HP7 look and Bell high-pressure carbon shell technology to the FIA 8859/SA2020 standard at a lower price point than the FIA 8860-certified HP7. For sim racing the RS7 Carbon offers the same visual experience and genuine competition-grade construction.

What is the difference between the GT6 and RS7 ranges?

The RS7 is designed for circuit and open-cockpit racing with a narrower eyeport profile. The GT6 features a wider eyeport and built-in side ports for intercom, hydration and forced-air systems — specifically designed for GT and closed-cockpit environments where dashboard visibility and communications integration matter. For sim racing the GT6 is better suited to enclosed cockpit builds.

What does the RD version mean on the GT6 RD and HP6 RD?

RD stands for Radio Device. The RD versions come factory-fitted with a fully integrated IMSA radio communication kit including ear cups or a 3.5mm jack and a hydration system. If you want to fit your own intercom system or use the helmet purely for sim racing, the standard non-RD version is the right choice.

What is the difference between the open face rally helmets and the full face helmets?

Open face helmets — the HP10 Rally, MAG-10 Rally, MAG-10 Carbon and Rally GT6 — leave the face exposed and are designed for rally drivers and co-drivers who use a separate balaclava and intercom system. Full face helmets provide complete facial protection and are used in circuit racing. For sim racing both are equally usable — it comes down to the look and feel you want in your cockpit.

Can I return a helmet if it doesn't fit?

Helmets can be returned if they are unused, unmodified and in original packaging. If you have worn the helmet or removed the inner liner it cannot be returned. We strongly recommend contacting us for sizing advice before ordering — we can help you select the right size based on your head measurement.
