ProSimu in the UK: Every Model, UK Prices and How to Choose
Teilen
ProSimu makes some of the best-built motion simulators you can buy for sim racing and flight sim. They are built in Le Mans, France, and have been since 2009. Until recently it was hard to get a straight answer on UK prices, delivery and what to pick. This guide fixes that.
I run SimTorque, and we supply ProSimu in the UK. Every price below is what you pay: inc VAT, free UK mainland delivery, no import fees or surprise charges at the door. Prices were checked on 27 October 2026.
The short answer
- Want a complete motion chassis for a racing rig: the T1000 3M, from £4,795.
- Already have a cockpit and want motion under it: the P3MP from £4,945 (3DOF) or the P5MP from £9,595 (4DOF).
- Want to start small: the Motion Seat, £3,095.
- Want everything, including heave and surge: the T1000 5M, from £9,395.
Read on if you want the reasoning.
What makes ProSimu different
Three things come up again and again.
Traction loss is built in. Every ProSimu platform above the seat mover has a dedicated rear actuator that kicks the back of the rig sideways when the car loses grip. You feel the slide before you see it. Most platforms in this price range add this later, or not at all.
The actuators are the product. ProSimu makes two: the PRS50 (100mm stroke, over 1G, 200mm/s) and the PRS200 (100mm or 150mm stroke on most models, 2G, 280mm/s). The PRS200 is the one that makes the difference you can feel, and it is the one that unlocks the upgrade path.
It grows with you. PRS200 versions of the 3M can be upgraded to the 5M with ProSimu's 3M to 5M upgrade pack. You keep the chassis. The PRS50 version of the 3M does not take that upgrade, so decide now if you think you will want it.
ProSimu UK prices at a glance
| Model | Motion | Actuators | UK price (inc VAT) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Motion Seat | 2DOF seat mover | PRS50 | £3,095 |
| T1000 3M | 3DOF + traction loss | PRS50 or PRS200 | £4,795 / £6,145 / £6,895 |
| P3MP | 3DOF + traction loss, goes under your cockpit | 3 configurations | £4,945 / £6,545 / £7,245 |
| T1000 5M | 4DOF + traction loss | PRS200 | £9,395 / £10,595 / £11,845 |
| P5MP | 4DOF + traction loss, goes under your cockpit | 4x PRS200 + rear | £9,595 / £10,849 / £12,295 |
| T5 Pro | 4DOF, 5 actuators, pre-assembled | PRS200 | £13,945 |
| T1000 7M | 6DOF + traction loss | PRS200 | from £23,695 |
| T7 Pro | 6DOF training simulator | PRS200 | from £28,395 |
Actuator kits (PRS200, 2 or 4 actuators) start at £4,245 if you are building your own.
The multiple prices are stroke options: longer stroke costs more. For most home racing use, the shorter stroke is plenty.
Which ProSimu should you buy?
T1000 3M: the one most people should look at first
Three actuators give you pitch, roll and traction loss on a laser-cut steel chassis. The pedal plate adjusts and tilts, and the wheel plate is pre-drilled for most direct drive bases. It weighs about 150kg and takes up 160 x 120 x 130cm. Seat, wheel, pedals, screens and PC are not included. SimTools-ProSimu software is.
The PRS50 version at £4,795 is the cheapest way into a proper ProSimu chassis. If you think you will want heave and surge later, buy a PRS200 version (£6,145 or £6,895) so the 5M upgrade stays open.
Straight talk: the 3M has no heave or surge. You get the sensations of cornering, braking weight transfer through pitch, and slides. For a lot of people that is the 80% that matters, but if kerbs and bumps are what you want, look at the 5M.
P3MP and P5MP: motion for the cockpit you already own
If you already have an aluminium profile or steel cockpit you like, a platform goes underneath it and the cockpit stays as it is. The P3MP comes in three configurations: 3x PRS50 100mm, 2x PRS200 100mm plus 1x PRS50, or 2x PRS200 150mm plus 1x PRS50. The P5MP uses four PRS200 actuators plus a rear traction loss actuator, 280mm/s and 2G, the same performance as the 5M.
The P5MP footprint is 154cm (225cm with extensions) x 110 x 90cm and it weighs 200kg. It runs on 110 to 220V. Check your cockpit weight against the platform before you buy. Our guide to motion platform weight capacity covers how to work it out, and our P5MP review walks through fitting one under an 8020 rig.
T1000 5M: the full racing chassis
Four PRS200 actuators for pitch, roll, heave and surge, plus the rear traction loss actuator, on the same chassis as the 3M. This is the one for people who want the whole picture: kerbs as sharp hits, braking that pushes you forward, the rear stepping out. £9,395 to £11,845 depending on stroke.
Motion Seat: the cheapest way to feel something
A 2DOF seat mover on PRS50 actuators at £3,095. It is a real step up from no motion and it is quiet. It is not a platform, so it does not give you traction loss. Good for tight budgets and tight spaces.
T5 Pro, T7 Pro and T1000 7M: the serious end
The T5 Pro is a pre-assembled 4DOF unit with five actuators (147 x 85 x 140cm, about 220kg), from £13,945. The T1000 7M is 6DOF with front and rear traction loss and a 350kg payload, from £23,695. The T7 Pro is a 6DOF training simulator with a 450kg payload, from £28,395. If you are asking whether you need these, you probably do not. If you know you do, email me and we will talk through the configuration.

ProSimu or another brand?
ProSimu is not the right answer for everyone. If your budget is under £3,000 or you want the cheapest possible 2DOF, other brands do that well. If you want to compare properly, these guides cover it:

Where ProSimu wins for most buyers: built-in traction loss, the PRS200 actuators, and an upgrade path that does not mean buying twice.
